Founder’s Story
Malcolm S. Carter-Harris, PhD
Originally from Detroit, Michigan, I’ve spent the past 24 years in the New York City area, building a career dedicated to leadership development, organizational transformation, and resilience in complex environments.
My experience includes roles at The Mosaic Company, General Electric, and Hexcel Corporation, where I led global initiatives and created programs to align leadership with strategic goals. With a PhD in Organizational Development and Leadership, my research in VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) environments is central to my work at Apex Development Partners.
As a 1st Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo, I bring the discipline and resilience of martial arts into leadership coaching. Apex Development Partners empowers organizations to excel in unpredictable environments through consulting, training, and speaking engagements. Our strategic focus includes developing innovative services like VUCA crisis simulation workshops, digital learning platforms, and launching a Leadership Academy that prepares organizations for future challenges.
